Engine and gearbox where completely overhauled. Thereafter the body was painted in Salvador Blue. The body was completely stripped and the sheet metal was repaired. All chassis parts where overhauled and parts where bought new. His 1991 cc Engine produce 100 bhp which makes this a real no nonsense British sports car.Ī complete body off restoration started in 2010. Due the development of the TR models, the TR3a is a very reliable sports car. In total 58.309 Triumph TR3a’s where build in the period 1957 -1962. The biggest change they made on the TR3a was the wider front grill and door handles were fitted. Its predecessor was the Triumph TR3, the first production car with front disc brakes.
